Food Inc.
The film was very well done and worth the education. The audience even applauded at the end. The movie also interviewed two authors who have written on this subject Eric Schlosser of “Fast Food Nation” and Michael Pollan author of “The Omnivore’s Dilemma: A Natural History of Four Meals”. These books are now on my reading list.
Take a trip to the Camelview. I hope that with enough interest and attendance that this movie will be able to open wide and reach a broader audience.
Thanks for posting about Food Inc. Kate! We saw this last week and were really glad we did. Was glad to see a good turnout as well along with the reactions from the audience. Most were surprised at how our ‘food’ is raised and brought to market and who runs everything. I hope more will be able to see this movie as well. Looking forward to having Bob and the crew back at the market in October!
I just watched Food Inc. How frightening and sad, sad, sad. I want to know where I can buy free range chickens. Thank heaven for organic food.
