Sunny skies forecasted tomorrow…

McClendon’s Select will be back at the Uptown Wednesday Farmers’ Market tomorrow morning with a wonderful selection to get you started for the fall.  We are glad that the rain is pouring today, because we have definitely needed it, but the sun will be shining again tomorrow.

We should have nice weather for our first day back at the Uptown Wednesday market.  The current storm system is moving through the valley rapidly.  Light showers are expected through 6:00am on Wednesday morning.  During our market hours of 8:00am-1:00pm there is only a slight chance of an occasional sprinkle.  I doubt that there will be sprinkles due to the speed at which the storm is moving.  Bob McClendon will be there with his crew to help you with your needs.  You won’t want to miss the last soil grown Heirloom Tomatoes of the season.  They are beautiful, perfectly ripe and available in all sizes and colors.

We will be bringing an assortment of organic winter squashs including Red Kabocha, Delicata, Acorn and Butternut, along with Wild Coastal Huckleberries from our friends in Oregon, organic Red and Gold Beets, beautiful organic Red, Green and Napa cabbage, and, of course, Noble Bread will be joining us once again.  The beautiful organic Eggplant  Medley shown above will also be available, along with organic Japanese Ichiban eggplants.

We look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow and to returning to the Old Town Scottsdale market this Saturday.

Located on the Southwest Corner of 1st Street & Brown in Scottsdale. Brown is one block East of Scottsdale road. 1st street is two blocks South of Indian School road.
